Tell mom that if she drives, the pigs will have to ride up front with her so you and Travers will sit in back to make sure the pumpkins don't roll out. Don't drink all the cider before you get to the market, or you will start to feel lightheaded and you could fall off the truck in the mud.

Just let your mom take you. I'm sure the girl knows you have a mom, there's nothing embarrassing about having parents, most people have them. If your worried about something embarrassing happening, don't worry the girl is just as worried about her mom/dad saying something embarrassing too. good luck !
