well i have a bday coming up and i have a lot of bestfriends i wannaa invite but my mom said only 5 ppl can come cause she cant take care of tht much people so yeahh..... how could i tell them they cant come ? i can invite my REALLY closest cloest friends but my other friends would probably find out quick ! so i dont noe wat to do.......

just invite your closest friends and tell the others the truth (that your mom said you could only invite 5)... they'll understand
Reply:I hate it when that happens. Mom only lets you invite 3 friends and you do and the rest of them feel second best. Make sure to ease the pain if you absolutely MUST drop friends off your list. If you can, ask your parents if there is ANY possible way you can invite more friends or ask why so few? If money's the problem, your friends can pay. If too many rowdy kids are the problem, go somewhere your parents can just drop you guys off somewhere like a skating rink. What ever it is, just negotiate.
And when that doesn't work, please PLEASE make sure the rest know you wished they could come. Bring the left over cake to school and chow at lunch. Do something to make them feel ... less crap-ish. The only thing harder then choosing to leave friends behind, is being the friend who gets left behind. Tell them the truth and if you're nice to them, they'll understand.
