Well you should ask people who are already in your group to invite their friends, but you can't just invite any random person. Also advertise the group, make some hype about it.

You can't invite specific individuals who are not on your list. However I would suggest one of two things or both. Set your group as an open group this way anyone who is aware of it and wants to join can join OR if you are after specific individuals who are not on your friends list but you would like to invite I think you can add other administrators via the settings for the group. If these new admins have the friends on there facebook profile you want to be invited then they can then invite them officially on your behalf.
