If a girl came to your house trick or treating as a French maid would you give her some candy or invite her in?

You damn well better invite me in!
If a girl came to your house trick or treating as a French maid would you give her some candy or invite her in?
I would give her some candy, as I strongly believe in Halloween participation, and then I would inquire on her rates for cleaning services. I could really use someone to vacuum and wash the dishes.

Reply:um no b/c im a girl.

even if it was a hot guy who was totally half naked, i wouldnt invite him in. i might ask for his number in exchange with the candy!
Reply:If under legal age - give her some candy.

If over or equal to legal age - invite her in.
Reply:I would give her candy and send her on her way. The French maid I already have wouldn't let her in the house anyway.

Is it true that if you place a glass of water by the bedside with a saucer on top that you invite spirits?

Growing up we always had a glass of water along side a dish of tobacco as an offering to the spirits. This was a tradition passed on from Menominee and Ojibwa elders. I was told that the two things spirits can't get in the Spirit World are kinnikinnik (Indian tobacco) and water, and the Spirits liked it when it was placed out for them as an offering. We never covered the water glass with a saucer.
Is it true that if you place a glass of water by the bedside with a saucer on top that you invite spirits?
The real purpose of placing a saucer on top of a a glass of water is to keep out dust and insects.... And as inviting spirits in is a very old superstition that got mixed in with a covered with covering a mirror and a glass of water...............
Reply:my granny kept an uncovered glass of water by her bed to repel negative spirits
Reply:When I put a glass of water by the bed it encourages my dog to jump up and drink it. PS: I ain't afraid of no ghosts.
Reply:No, it isn't true.
Reply:hope not cuz i'm pregnant so i always have water by me
Reply:my mom always says so so I avoid it

Hey how many people shoul i invite?

how many people do you think should be a limit for a sweet 16 ??? ,1000 or is that too much ?i have no limit on the money so any ideas ?
Hey how many people shoul i invite?
spoiled brat

sweet sixteen parties have gone out of control.....nice when people are losing their homes left and right
Reply:1000! WOW.

Inviting lots of people to your party wont make you seem popular so don't get hung up on having lots of people there.

Is this party at your house or at a venue? Because if it's at your house I would keep it to about 100-200 people. But even if it's at a venue I would invite my whole year level at school (except for the people you really don't like) I wouldn't invite more than that because you don't want randoms at your party.

And I would definitely make a chaperon check their invitations at the door, there's nothing worse that having complete strangers gate crash your party. It makes it a bit awkward.

Hope I have helped!
Reply:for my sweet 16 i had 1,350 people

the cost was $1,400,156

including the price of my new car and plane ticket to egypt as well

no joke

1,000 is a good number as long as you have enough food/space for all of them. if not take some of them off the list if you don't know them that well

make sure you get lots of guards

a lot of party crashers and idiots!!

Reply:Do whatever you want and I love how that one chic threw in her bragging ~ Egypt, Car and blah blah blah

Personally, I would invite my closest friends to a small intimate dinner and tell my parents to donate the rest of the money to a favorite charity and another portion in a fund to make sure my future children would be taken care of instead.
Reply:It depends if you want really close friends there are everyone you've talked to in your life. The main thing is the venue. Where are you going to have it and how many people will it hold. If it's a large place, I would invite up to 100 and if it is smaller I wouldn't invite more than 40. If you want it to be with just special friends, keep it under 25.
Reply:too many !even if money is not an object, how can you have time to entertain so many people. why invete that many extra people and spend the money on them. invete friends and maybe a couple hundred and enjoy everyones company.
Reply:1000 is way too much. I doubt there are even 1000 people in your school. If so, you wouldn't want to invite all of them. I'm thinking you want a big party, so I would say no more than 500.
Reply:a thousand?nah i wouldn't.

in the area of 300 i would say.

that way you could invite people you did actually like and not people you didn't know at all.

Is it rude to not invite people you work with but don't know very well to your wedding?

I work with either old ladys or stuck up girls at work i have only worked here since febuary and i only have made friends with a handful of people since a lot of them are old Would it be rude to only invite my friends?? I work at a small hospital with a bunch of old mean nurses and i only get along with the aids what would you do?
Is it rude to not invite people you work with but don't know very well to your wedding?
It's not rude. I didn't feel close enough to anyone at my work to invite, plus none of them knew "us", they just knew me.
Reply:You can invite anyone you wish to your wedding....but keep in mind, if you invite some of the people from work and not all of them, there may be a few ladies who harbor resentment towards that. It may or may not happen - I know myself that I simply didn't invite anybody that I worked with. Made it a lot easier.
Reply:It's not rude at all. I've worked at my place for 7 years and didn't invite loads of people! It comes down to friends. Whereas I work with them, I'm not good 'friends' with any of them and I only wanted people I cared about at my wedding! It may sound mean but at the end of the day I had to pay for all the guests so I only wanted people there who meant something to me x
Reply:It's not rude, but be advised that the others may treat you even worse if they are "mean or stuck up" - people are harsh. Sometimes it is better to do a "all or none" policy at work - if you have only been there since Feb. how close are you to these gals? Or invite them %26amp; tell them to keep their mouths shut about it, to not make things worse for you.
Reply:well if it was me I would only invite my friends because why invite people you dont know well or dont really care for they arent going to care at the end of the day and it is what u feel comfortable with so invite your friends and people you know and feel comfortable with this is a special day for u so u should celebrate with people who u know and trust and has your best interest at heart thats what i would do if it was me but good luck and congradulation on your wedding ,
Reply:The theory i am trying to use is...if i don't think i will still be friends with them in five years, i'm not inviting them. I'm only inviting 2 people from work because they are the only ones i socialise with outside of work hours.

Its your day. Invite who you want. It doesn't matter what anyone else says.
Reply:It is not rude not to invite people to your wedding if they are not really your friends in anyway. If you don't like em don't invite em. It's your wedding? And if these people are mean, they don't deserve to be there.
Reply:Your wedding is supposed to be about you and your groom it is your day. The people that you invite should be ones that you want to share this joyous occassion with, close friends and family.
Reply:I would only invite the people that you're closest with. I worked closely with over 40 people. There's no way they're all going to be invited to my wedding.
Reply:You can invite who you want there are no rules and you don't have to invite someone out of guilt.
Reply:only invite people u care about or really want u dont have to feel bad by not inviting people u dont really know
Reply:you have to draw the line somenwhere. If you arent close to them then dont invite them! People willl get over it!
Reply:It's not rude. I worked at a company for 4 years and only invited my best friend. Don't worry.
Reply:It's not rude at all. It's your special day to share with people that love and care for you.
Reply:no it not rude .

but if they insist then throw a small treat for them ( just to maintain curtsey)
Reply:No.

i just love this site, i want to share it with them, actually i already did

is it a sin?

share your thoughts
Is it a sin to invite my family members to join Y!A for posting in R%26amp;S ?
This place = meth. Addictive.

Sure, share your vices with the ones you love, if it makes you happy... lol.
Reply:Whether it becomes a sin or not depends entirely upon how they interact with R%26amp;S. Sin begins in the thoughts of a person and is expressed through their mouths(or fingers in this medium).

Too many unGodly people come to R%26amp;S to spout their uglyness and are committing sins in doing so.

The good people who come to R%26amp;S do so in order to help people and be helped by them.

You cannot be held responsible for what your family members have to say herein.
Reply:No sin Jacqueline. Two of my family members play on YA. My daughter in movies and Television. Of course my sweet hubby, Bear Man is an R%26amp;S member. We have fun reading and answering the questions together.

Merry Merry all! :)

Can I use "go dutch " as an adjective?, For instance "to invite sb to have a go dutch coffee"

If it's not correct, which adjective can I use instead of that?

Thanks in advance.
Can I use "go dutch " as an adjective?, For instance "to invite sb to have a go dutch coffee"
It depends on when you're going to use it:

If you're talking about in everyday speech, yeah, you can do whatever you want (as long as the meaning's clear). So it's perfectly fine as an adjective.

In more formal English (like in academic writings), it wouldn't be acceptable. It falls into the category of things like "ain't", "[Jimmy and me] are going to the store," and others that are perfectly acceptable English utterances that the grammarians haven't had the inclination to keep up with.
Reply:It sounds awkward and confusing. I would say, "to invite sb to go Dutch for coffee", instead.
Reply:Use "dutch treat" instead. "Invite somebody to have coffee, dutch treat".
Reply:Yes, but do put it in quotation marks, you are factually stating a system, not inviting to a journey

In Australia you can buy Dutch coffee, it's very high in its caffeine content, so I wouldn't use the suggestion of the first answerer, you may still wind up paying, however things may be different in your country
Reply:It's a bit irregular and awkard to use it this way.

"Go Dutch" is usually used as a verb.

You could invite someone to go Dutch on coffee.
Reply:I don't see why not. It would be perfectly understood.

You might even get away with dropping the "go" and say

"Would you like to have Dutch coffee tomorrow at 11?"

I was asked to invite my former boss as a guest speaker, but he farts involuntarily.?

A high school teacher asked me to invite my former boss, an eminent college professor, as a guest speaker in her classroom. I am worried because my elderly professor, whom i respect, farts involutarily for some medical or age related reasons i dont know. During his last deparmental seminar, for example, he farted like at least five times. Luckily, audience is mature and noone never laughs about it, at least to his face. I dont want to lie to this highschool teacher but I dont want to sound like: I dont want him to be the speaker in your classroom, cause he farts".

Its highly likely that her students being young and immature may laugh at him during his talk. I dont want him to be made funo of. I dont even think he realizes he farts, poor thing.
I was asked to invite my former boss as a guest speaker, but he farts involuntarily.?
You are in a very tough spot, honesty always works out for the best. Maybe you can give the poor fella some Beano gas relief or have some kind of background noise in the classroom that will drown out the FARTS. Have in sit in a soft padded fabric chair. No woooden or leather mind you.

Hope this helps
Reply:You can tell your school teacher about this to avoid the embarrassment to your professor who may take it as an insult. Also you cannot blame children or for that matter anybody including me from smiling/laughing if suddenly farts. Teacher may agree.

Teacher also cannot tell her pupils beforehand which will make them more hilarious and will wait for him to fart.
Reply:Lie. Make something up like he's on vacation. Or u could just say u too didn't get along well together and u feel uncomfertable talking to the man.
Reply:Wow! This is a tough one. You could tell you're high school teacher about the problem of having him come to speak. She would be best to decide if the kids are mature enough to handle it.
Reply:I really dont think that the kids are mature enough to handle it at all they will definatley laugh and make him feel bad. I think you should really talk to the high school teacher and if she still wants him to go then maybe she should have a talk with the class before he gets there are stupid as that might sound letting the class know what to expect before he shows up could save the professor the embarresment.

Is it dumb to invite a girl to the lake or sand dunes?

I love to go boating or ride my quad out somewhere every weekend. I'm just wondering if girls have fun doing stuff like that.
Is it dumb to invite a girl to the lake or sand dunes?
That's an awesome date. Just try to get her a quad to ride too so she doesn't feel like your b1tch. Oh, and let her drive the boat.
Reply:It may be dumb to some girls, but if a girl is intrested in that type of thing than there shouldnt be a problem. If thats something that you like to do I would reccomend you finding a girl that is intrested in that type of thing. Some girls love to have some different experiences. Just ask her if that type of things intrests her.
Reply:If you don't ask her, you will never know.
Reply:They might fear that you're rushing them into a relationship too quickly. That's girlfriend/boyfriend kinda stuff.
Reply:i love doing that. i ride my quad every weekend and the outdoors if my favorite place to be. i think you will find the right girl to make you happy and have fun doing what you are doing.
Reply:it will give her a taste of what she is getting in, in other words it will show off your persanality. but have something that you know she will love like a picnick with her favorite foods and maybe wine
Reply:Some girls do, ask the one you're thinking of asking, otherwise you won't ever know.
Reply:It really depends on how well you know the girl. If it's something like a first date, then no, bad idea. But if you've been seeing someone or have a specific friend who is a girl, then that's okay.
Reply:depends on the girl

some would like me

and some would never even consider it

ask her
Reply:Not at all ! Most of us girls like to try different things from time to time. Be sure to take bug spray though.
Reply:NO,,,it's not dumb to do that. Just make sure that she likes that kind of stuff and you can have a ball...
Reply:one thing is sure 100% guaranteed.....if she isn't happy,...you'll find out damn quick.

so you just move on to a better girl that likes what you like in life.
Reply:well of course some do.....she might even like it as much as you do take a chance...
Reply:the lake is great for making out.....campfire....a few beers....you'll have her eating out of your hand lol......
Reply:in my opinion, i think they would like it if they like things that are involved outdoors. every girl is different.
Reply:NO its not. i love the nature. well for nature lovers i dont think its dumb at all. in fact that is the sweetest thing a guy can do to confirm a place in our heart *coughs*

its sweet. really nice. find someone who loves nature then ur ready for another boat ride with her *winks*
Reply:yeah i would love that!! so much better than the usaul watching movies ect.. i wanna find a guy that does that type of stuff
Reply:No it is not dumb to invite a girl to go with you to the lake or sand dunes... There are alor of girls who love doing that kind of stuff....
Reply:loll hell yeah they like that. Thats a perfect "date". Definitely original. Good luck with it. I don't know a girl that wouldn't love that.
Reply:Yes, a lot of girls like to do stuff like boating and quad riding. Some girls don't, but it never hurts to ask. I think it's great that you like doing those things, and that you want someone to share that with you. Go for it!!

What is yaho mash? is it really an invite - only service? if I want to be invited, how can I get the account?

Do I need to have a contact with people who already had an yahoo mash account? (by yahoo mail, 360 or messenger?!)
What is yaho mash? is it really an invite - only service? if I want to be invited, how can I get the account?
Yahoo!Mash is a new social networking product much like Friendster and MySpace. It is in Beta testing at this time.

Anyone who has a Yahoo!Mash account can invite you -OR- you can ask for an invitation at this link:

http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Y-Mas...

It is my understanding that Yahoo!360 will be replaced by the new Universal Profile System.
Reply:join the mash-forum group on yahoo groups at:

ask for an invite there

supposedly mash is going to replace yahoo 360

How do you handle finding out one of your best friends is having a party and didn't invite you?

I know this sounds childish, but we are all 50+! I have known this woman and considered her a best friend for 20 years.
How do you handle finding out one of your best friends is having a party and didn't invite you?
get on the phone %26amp; ask "why didn't you invite me?"
Reply:you have to confront her. act like it doesn't bother you but meet her and bring it up in casual conversation. be all nice about it, not angry, and she won't know how to act. after the initial confrontation, you can tell her how much it hurt you to not be invited because you consider her a friend and thought she did the same, and you can figure out where you stand.
Reply:maybe it was going to be a surprise party for you! but don't sweat it because she would have said something years ago if she had something against you!
Reply:Well, first of all, I would now know that we're not as close as I thought. 2ndly, I would try to figure out why I may have not been included in this particular party. Could it be that she's having a party of a certain group that you're not a part of and would feel weird trying to fit in and associate with that group? Try to put a positive spin on it. You don't have to be invited to every single party she has, you know? Some people deserve a life separate of their "other life" sometimes, ya know? Just don't take it personally. If you're friends, you should try to understand!
Reply:ask her what she's doing on the day of her party. If she lies about it maybe you should make other plans or tell her u know about it but dont get mad... she couldve just forgotten you tho. dont make an assumption to quick tho.

M a ghanaian student in the university i have everything to make me travel to uk except an invite letter pls h

look up online it is always better to necessary documents before yu leave.it is easy get all

I've been trying for a few weeks to get a Demonoid account on friday, but I keep losing out. I'm sick and tired of trying, so I figured I'd give this a shot and see if any benevolent soul is willing to give me an invite code.
Anyone have a Demonoid invite they could give me?
Demonoid is OK! What are you trying to download? ISOHUNT.COM is the absolute best!!! try them out.
Reply:why not try torrentspy......its a good site, i use it more than i use demonoid.... always has more torrents than demonoid
Reply:try here its the same as demonoid

How should I ask & invite a girl to a restaurant; ( It needs to say she is my private English teacher ) ?

Also she is 25 years old and I'm 27

What's your suggest?

Thanks
How should I ask %26amp; invite a girl to a restaurant; ( It needs to say she is my private English teacher ) ?
Considering the ages, I see no problem with this.

Aside from your professional lives, you're both people, why not?
Reply:tell her u have some problem with english. tell her that ur house is gettin' repaired or somethin'. AND then tell her if it will be ok if u guys meet at a restaurant to solve some of ur queries. I think it'll work.

All this if ur shy. Otherwise, go ask her straight whether she'll meet u.

Do you think it was clever of Gerry McCann to invite a buxom aerobics instructor to the table....

the night Madeleine disappeared?

Kate McCann had slept in a seperate room the night before because she was angry at him for ignoring her.

Surely this would only antagonize the situation.

Seems strange if you ask me ..........

This is the aerobics instructor in question who was invited to come and sit at their table by Gerry.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-...

Do you think it was clever of Gerry McCann to invite a buxom aerobics instructor to the table....
I thought that Dave was already scraping the bottom of the barrel. It now looks as if he has now climbed in looking for the dregs. How does he know the McCanns slept apart on the night before Maddie dissapeared. Even if they did what has it got to do with him ? Is he suggesting that Gerry fancied this "buxom" lady ? If so what the hell has it got to do with him.? As he can't find any real evidence against the McCanns he is now trying to belittle their personal life. I think that stinks. Sorry Dave but thats how it appears to me.
Reply:yes it seems strange but could just be socializing when we go away my mum says people can sit next to us if there is no seats also im not being nasty to people but how can somepeople see sympathy for the maccans they left 3 babies on their own in an apartment whilst they went out i have no sympathy for them the only people i have sympathy for are the twins who will be missing their sister and madeleine who is out there somewear crying missing her family and her cuddlecat

also why dont people shot out that they seen her or maybe go an see if its definally her anot some random girl it drives me nuts how people just go to the paper not the police
Reply:He obviously gets a buzz out of upsetting Kate and keeping her in line by flirting with other women.

Let's face it that woman got Kate's share of bazookas didn't she? Bet Gerry would have had no trouble supervising those particular twins all night long. He would certainly have been checking them out more frequently and more hands on than every 30 minutes!!!!! LOL
Reply:my boyfriend has alway said they have something to do with it

or then no more than they are letting on

its very upsetting when you get people saying they have seen her

will if you have seen her why havent they phoned the police or shouted that shes maddie its drives me crazy knowing people are only using this little girl for a few minutes of fame
Reply:i heard, that aerobics instructor gave Gerry many private lessons on how to bend and flex.

Reply:Right up your street, anything to do with females.

Back to singles/dating to give them more of you expert advice you go.
Reply:You're really scraping the bottom of your dirty barrel now dave s. Even for you.

Reply:Dave - Knock it off - you are obsessed with the McCanns. Can you not get outraged about something else ?
Reply:strange indeed.
Reply:What's clever got to do with it?
Reply:You make me sick!
Reply:Are you a buxomophobe?!? What's wrong with having big ti*ts?!?

Does Barack Hussein Obama invite terrorists over to dine on fetuses and use the American flag to wipe their...?

mouths while discussing how to undermine capitalism, export American jobs to India, and take away all of our freedoms? After that, do they proceed to have a gay orgy in the Oval Office, then kill puppies for no reason?

Or is he the black Superman, whose farts smell like roses and repair the damage to the ozone? And when he burps, poverty disappears and polar ice caps reform And we he smiles, the HIV viruses self-destruct?

Just want to know!
Does Barack Hussein Obama invite terrorists over to dine on fetuses and use the American flag to wipe their...?
Neither. You're a jerk who doesn't know what they are talking about
Reply:You had everything right except one, he does not let them use the flag to wipe their mouths, the flag is reserved for wiping their butts with.
Reply:That second one.
Reply:Good on ya! I couldn't have said it better myself.

My finance wants to invite his ex-girlfriend and her mother to our wedding?

Her mother is better looking than his x and I think he did them both, to tell the truth. He even asked if I would mind if the first dance went to Ginger (his x's mother) What do you all think? He said he would make it a fast dance, but I not so sure I can trust his friend who happens to be the DJ. Anyone?
My finance wants to invite his ex-girlfriend and her mother to our wedding?
This is only appropriate if he has some sort of lifetime relationship with both these women. Sometimes people date when they are 15 and then remain friends, but that's the only reason I can think of.

The first dance -- well that detail makes me think you're asking a fake question. Obviously the first dance is with you and the second is with his mom. Unless his mom is dead and this woman is like a mother to him (See above bc he has known her his whole life)
Reply:omg .. No way in Hel.l would I allow that .. my god what next he wants his first born child to be with this woman ??? . Lady .. do not .. do not let these people come to your wedding ... An are you 100% Sure that you should even be marring him .. he wants his first dance to be with this chicks mom .. my gosh ...

GOOD LUCK.
Reply:You obviously have problems with it, as do I! If he's putting off the first dance to dance with her, I would stop him and remind him that he's marrying you. It's tacky to give up that first dance to someone not even related to you!

Personally I would have a long conversation with him.
Reply:The ex is the past, I can understand that. And even being close with her family. But to have your first dance be with the ex's mother? Hell No! I hope you put your foot down.
Reply:We have a "no exes" rule for our upcoming wedding. It just adds too much tension/stress. And the first dance thing- thats crap and I would put my foot down!
Reply:First dance be with an ex's mother and you are still considering marrying this guy????
Reply:You've got to be kidding? The first dance is between the bride and groom. I can't believe that he asked if it would be ok for him dance with this woman. No way! Put your foot down. This is your wedding (you and your fiance) and you should be focused on making each other happy. I wouldn't be happy to hear my hubby to be wanted to take the first dance for some woman who isn't even going to be famliy to him. Na uh. That's nuts.
Reply:Hahaha...funny story. If it is true (which I doubt...) no one would be marrying the guy, not even you.
Reply:Gyrl relax he probably had a some bad experience in life and she helped him some way so what better way to repay an old friend is let them watch him get married. in away it's show look what could of been you i suggest to talk to him first don't jump into any conclusions as we humans tend to do. It is probably a reason for this. Be optimistic
Reply:If there is so much distrust in your relationship already, then why are you getting married? The last thing I would worry about is who he danced with first, you should be concerned with why he needs to have them there knowing it bothers you.
Reply:Seriously!?! Break it off, and quickly
Reply:my "ex husband" invited his ex girlfriend to our wedding..

its just not right,,find someone else to marry
Reply:I would say HELL NO! Who's he marrying you or his ex's mother. The first dance is for you and him as husband and wife. I wouldn't let him invite them either. If he's that inconsiderate, you may want to rethink this.
Reply:First off... the first dance is YOURS! No other woman should be put ahead of you (except his mom is SOME cases) You are the bride, NO one and i mean NO ONE gets that dance besides you. Who is he getting married to any how??

What i don't understand is if he is going to put you off on YOUR and HIS day then what else does he have instore?
Reply:Think about it your brand new husband would like to have his first dance as a brand new husband with the mother of someone he is not married to. I would tell him to do what every he liked, I would get my money back for everything I paid for and everything he paid for and go find me someone who would wants to spend the 1st moments of my married life dancing with me. Good luck.
Reply:That would just not happen in my world....
Reply:Are you sure he still isn't in love with them???? Be real careful that he's marring you for the right reason.
Reply:No way!
Reply:Why in the world would he ask if he could dance with his ex's mother instead of you for the first dance?? I'd have to put my foot down on that NOW!!!

My fiance's ex actually asked him if she were invited, but he told her it was up to me. My answer - HELL NO!!!

Don't invite them!!
Reply:So she is the Ex let her see who is the woman and who got the ring there is nothing wroung with that because if i was in her shoes i will never show my face let him invite her it is up to her.
Reply:Why does he want the first dance to go to her? What about his parents? Did the x girlfriend mother always been involved in his life, like a mother figure?

I don't think either should attend it doesn't seem right.
Reply:What is this guy nuts - is he really thinking this is OK to do to you on your wedding day - baby - forget him - marry me - I will treat you right!!!
Reply:I don't think it's a good idea, not for you at least.

It's because he still has feelings for her?

You guys should talk about this at make him understand that he would ruin your wedding if they will be there.

Make him choose you or them?

Good luck

P.S. no dances with exes!!!!

This is your wedding!!!Don't let it happen!

He wants to take them to your honeymoon too?

Disgusting!
Reply:There are several ways you can approach this. Hopefully you have trwo guest lists already an A List (for all the people you really want to be there) and a B List (for those people you can live without being there) if he wants them invited then tell you husband to be that they are on the B list which means they only get invites if someone on the A-list can not attend. Also the first dance should only be between the bride and groom. The second dance is for father-daughter(bride) and mother-son(groom) respectively. No where in wedding traditions or even new age thinking does it say and now the groom dances with his ex girlfriend's mom! You should seriously talk to him and make sure that he knows how you feel on the situation because it can easily ruin a wonderful day.
Reply:If you do not want them there he should respect your wishes because this should be the most special day of your life nad you are not obligated to share it with his ex and her mother. And by him even suggesting that the first dance go to his exs mother was plain disrespectful and he should not have even said that to you.
Reply:This sounds pretty absurd to me! I wouldn't allow either one of them to be there. But, it's your wedding and ultimately up to you. Make your decision wisely, because your wedding is YOUR DAY and you only get one! Don't feel pressured to allow them to come and then be miserable or uncomfortable at your own wedding! Good Luck and Congratulations:)
Reply:I would mind if the first dance went to anybody but me. Our only agreed rule was nobody we slept with could be IN the wedding. But any ex's we were still friends with, could be invited. Every invite has to be approved by us both. We can veto anyone but I am not a petty person and I do not do jealousy.
Reply:If he wanted to be with them he would not have waisted his time marrying you. Divorce cost $600 minimum plus half of what he owns. Unless u r trying to tell me that he's that stupid, i don't think he will put himself in that kinda situation knowing what's at stake.
Reply:Sounds like a drunken argument in waiting to me. Bad idea. Plus, you sound pretty jealous.
Reply:Sounds like your fiance just wants to strut his feathers one last time. How disrespectful especially on your wedding day. Hell no! I would not go for that.

Tell those skanks to stay home and if he has a problem with it then you tell him to marry her!

Why would they want to come anyway. They are obviously still attached lonely bitches.

PS. If they try to sneak in, then use your bridesmaids to boot them out!
Reply:DON"T!! Because when the priest or pastor ask "who thinks that this two should not be joined by holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace", the ex will definitely say something.

Why dint christian people invite others to Christianity?
I am sorry you have never been invited. I am inviting you now. You are welcomed to join us anytime you like. I would love to have you come to church with me! If you want to know more about Christianity and are serious, please feel free to email me!

The wonderful thing is that God gave His Son so that we could have everlasting life! He blessed all nations and people through His Son! Jesus came to be a light to all those still in darkness, who did not know the love of God! He came to reconcile us to the Father! To show us that God is not holding our sins against us! If you want to know about Jesus, I have so much to share with you! Please write me! I would be so honored to share the joyous news of the Gospel with you!
Reply:Um... where are you from? One of the most important parts of REAL Christianity is to offer people the opportunity to know about how great God is. Some people do it the right way, some go about it the wrong way but never the less, it is almost always done. Has anyone ever invited you to church or to learn more about God? If not, I'll be shocked.

On a side note: I find that within recent times there has been a great deal of hostility against Christians who do this by

1. People of other religious beliefs

2. Atheists
Reply:Actually, we do invite others to join us all the time. Would you like to join us?

1. Our Problem: We have all done wrong--the Bible

calls it sin. (Romans 3:23)

2. The Consequences: The result of sin is judgement

in a place called Hell. (Romans 6:23)

3. Good News: Jesus died for our sins on the

cross--He will forgive our sins if we believe in Him.

(Romans 5:8)

4. What We Must Do:

a. Believe that Jesus died for our sins and rose

from the grave. (Romans 10:9-10)

b. Repent, stop doing wrong and follow Jesus.

(Acts 17:30,31)

c. Pray and ask Jesus to forgive your sins and

be your Lord and Savior. (John 1:12)

Pray this prayer: "Jesus, I believe You died on the

cross %26amp; rose from the dead so I can go to Heaven.

Forgive my sins %26amp; help me to live for You. I receive

You as my Savior %26amp; Lord."
Reply:Answer: I have trouble getting Christians to STOP "inviting" me to join their religion where I live. It is NOT the right religion for everyone.
Reply:We invited anybody to christianity because we don't judge anybody cause God don't judge us.
Reply:What are you talking about?

Christian people are welcome to everyone...

We WANT people to be Christian.
Reply:What do you mean?

They never stop proselytizing.
Reply:All are welcomed. God is no respecter of man.

Christ loves you as much as the next person.

If I am hiring a friend's brother to perform at my reception...do I send him an invite?

I am close friends with his sister, but he will be a hired performer. I would like him to stay for the reception after his set.

Do I send an invite, or tell him verbally when I pay him beforehand? What is the "correct" thing to do?

Thanks!
If I am hiring a friend's brother to perform at my reception...do I send him an invite?
yes and let him bring a guest as well good luck and congratulations
Reply:I would..maybe he wants it as a souvinor since will be performing. Might as well..It can't hurt!
Reply:Well, it's best to handle this beforehand, so your intentions are clear (in other words, if you pay him and then say, "hey, stick around for the food, it doesn't come off quite right).

Yes, I would send him an invite, and write a note in it. "Dear (insert name here), we're very glad that we were able to book you for the wedding, and hope that you will consider yourself our guest and enjoy the day with us when you're not "on duty." Looking forward to seeing you, (your name)."

Also make clear (by the way you address it) if he's allowed to bring a guest with him (i.e., "Rick Performer and Guest").
Reply:If you are hiring him to perform at your reception then he is a hired performer and not a guest. He does not get an invite but a verbal or written agreement that he will be there at a designated time and will be payed a certain amount for his work.
Reply:explain when you hire him that you will be sending him an invite to stay for the reception. Then send the invite.
Reply:I think that if you're going to allow him to stay after, he's also sort of a guest. Perhaps--since I'm assuming you're inviting his sister--just let him know that he's welcome to stay. If he wouldn't know anyone else, I might send him an invite and let him bring a guest, but since he'll know at least one other person (and might? be playing for less $$ than he normally would) I think I'd just pass along the invite word of mouth.
Reply:Make a contract with him beforehand (in writing, preferably), and then send a formal invitation that includes him and a guest.

Also, be certain that you include him in your guest count and seating plans so that the caterer knows to serve him the same meal as the rest of your guests.

If i got a student visa FOR USA i can invite my wifeand children?&my wife canwork?wecanbecitizen also?

If you have an F-1 visa you can get an F-2 visa for your wife and children so they can accompany you. However, no one has the right to work except you ( 20 hours per week during school time, 40 hours during breaks). You cannot move from F-1 to an immigrant status unless you have a job offer and qualify for an H-1 or other work visa.
If i got a student visa FOR USA i can invite my wifeand children?%26amp;my wife canwork?wecanbecitizen also?
If you have a student visa, your wife can come here, but she cannot work. After graduation you would have to look for a job which will sponsor you for a green card and if you get one then you can eventually become a citizen.
Reply:No, you cannot become a citizen just by studying in the US. You can invite your wife and children only if you can show that you have enough money to support them while you are in school as they are not allowed to work.

Is it okay to invite your mother to visit at a hotel instead of your house? No plans to show me the new house.

My daughter and her husband of 4 years just bought a new house and I suggested visiting her in the Spring in Chicago because I haven't seen her in 4 years. It's a 4 bedroom house and they don't have any children.

I flew to Chicago in the past and stayed at a hotel and we never met with her husband or saw her previous house either. We have a great time shopping and seeing the sights, but isn't this situation a little strange? Apparently, she treasures her privacy. Your thoughts are appreciated.
Is it okay to invite your mother to visit at a hotel instead of your house? No plans to show me the new house.
Have you let her know that you want to see her house? Make sure you make that clear. Make sure she knows well in advance that that's going to be a part of your plan if you visit. If she doesn't want to let you stay at her home I could understand. Maybe her husband feels uncomfortable with you around, maybe she doesn't want to be burdened with having a house guest. It's a full-time job watching over house guests sometimes. If you haven't told her that you want to see her house, then she may think that you're not interested in it.

There's many good and bad reasons why she may not want you in her house. First look at yourself...HONESTLY. Maybe she's afraid you'll criticize her (It's too big, too small, too dirty, not decorated well, too expensive). Do you do this? Have you been known to take things(even if it's little things)? Have you been known to snoop around? Have you been known to clean up after her (she may not want anyone cleaning her things for her)? It might not be you at all, but don't dismiss yourself as the problem.

She could also fear that if you see her home you'll pressure her about having kids or you may take an interest in moving in with her.

Then there's the problem that something is wrong. Like others have suggested, abuse or lying. She could be lying that she's in a big house, she could be lying that she's still with her husband, or maybe her husband has kids from a previous marriage?.

If you have made it clear that you want to see her home and don't intend to stay at her home overnight then there is certainly a problem. She's hiding something from you. Whether it be a quirk that you have that's she doesn't want to admit to you or something wrong in her life there's an issue.
Reply:This is very strange, it seems to me that your daughter is hiding something and she doesn't want you to find out about it. I find it strange that she doesn't want you to visit her home, that's kind of insulting. Maybe your daughter is not living the kind of life that you think she is, maybe her marrage is in trouble, maybe she doens't really have a house for you to come to, she could be an abused wife, maybe that is why her husband didn't show up. It seems that your daughter is not telling you that her life is not as picture perfect as she would have you believe. She likes to have privacy but it just seems as if shes being sneaky, you should confront her. Good luck.
Reply:She is hiding something from you.

There is not a true relationship there and it seems to be one sided.

You are her mother and her not wanting you to be a part of her life and keeping you from her home is not what a relationship should be between mother and daughter.
Reply:What does she say when you mention wanting to see the house? Maybe she thinks you wont like it? Something is off. Talk to her about it.
Reply:i find this to be really odd.? and sad I would personally be devastated my children have shunned me in the past and have chosen their mother (my ex) over myself. GOD BLESS YOU

Do I have to invite spouces of co-workers to my wedding?

I am trying to cut down my guest list without eliminating friends and family. I have never met them by the way.
Do I have to invite spouces of co-workers to my wedding?
According to Miss Manners, a social invitation (unlike a business invitation) is never issued to just one member of a married or engaged couple. Are you sure you want to invite your co-workers? Do you see these people socially? That is, do you share activities with them that are not related to work?

I'm worring this point because it seems odd to me to know people well enough (socially that is, not in a business sense) to invite to such a formal social occasion and yet have never so much as met ANY of the spouses. Inviting people you don't really know socially to a wedding is usually viewed as fishing for gifts.

If you want some special way to celebrate with your co-workers, I suggest you see your boss about giving a "work party" and supplying a cake or catered lunch or some other treat instead of inviting business associates to a social event.

Congrats and best wishes!
Reply:YES.

If someone is married, or in a serious relationship, it is considered poor etiquette not to invite their spouse..... very tacky.

Either invite co~workers with spouses, or don't invite them at all.
Reply:Yes. If you invite someone who is married, you have to invite the spouse. Why not eliminate all co-workers? Tell them you are having a small family wedding.
Reply:I think it would be rude if my husband was invited to a wedding and I wasn't
Reply:Yea, you should. Most invitations sent out for weddings allow the person invited and 1 guest (usually referring to their spouse.) And your coworkers may not want to come if they know they cannot bring their spouses.
Reply:It's considered in extremely poor taste to invite a married person to an event and not invite their spouse.
Reply:Traditionally when you invite someone it permits them to bring a guest ...
Reply:normally you invite the couple to the wedding... very few people would want to come alone without thier spouse.
Reply:I think it would be better. But if you really cant than dont.I understand.I'm on 3000 budget and people are popping out left and right that I forgot of.
Reply:It is widely accepted. Most married people prefer to accompany their mates to that type of gathering.
Reply:Yep
Reply:Most people want to go with their spouses to weddings. I would make sure that all of your family and friends are invited first and then go to your co-workers. Have a list A(family and friends) and B(co-workers, friends of friends, etc.)
Reply:You should allow your guest to bring +1 and ask them to RSVP!
Reply:yes.. if theya re married or seriously dating you are required to invite thier spouse
Reply:when you invite someone-it is customary for them to bring a guest---so if you don't want them to--then don't invite them at all and jsut tell them your only inviting family. Most people do not want to go by themselves.
Reply:yes
Reply:You shouldn't cut them out.
Reply:Yes. If someone is important enough to warrant an invitation to your wedding then they are important enough to bring a guest.

To exclude the spouse of a co-worker would be the epitome of rudeness.
Reply:of course you have to! proper etiquette is anyone over the age of 18 is to be invited with a guest. but even if you dont' follow that rule, anyone you invite, if they are MARRIED, you HAVE to invite their spouse!!! i could not imagine if i ever got invited to a wedding but my husband didn't!!! that would be ridiculous.
Reply:It's pretty standard that when you invite someone to a wedding, that the invitation is addressed to "that person" and "guest."
Reply:Yes, it is common courtesy to extend the invitation to a person's spouse.

A good rule of thumb for crossing people off the list:

1. If you dont have their home phone number

2. If you havent visited them or been out with them in the past 12 months.

I think if you follow these guidelines you'll find it much easier.

Not inviting someones spouse can offend people even more than not sending them an invitation at all.
Reply:Talk to your co-workers first and ask them how they feel. Normally, people are OK with going to a work function and lots of married people would prefer to not be at a table with all people who work together so it should work out. I would talk to them first.
Reply:no need to only invite the employees they can sit together at the table.
Reply:Well all i can say to you is the one big thing.."ITS YOUR WEDDING" you envite who you want
Reply:I'm going against the grain on this one.

If you are limited in space or budget, I see no harm in inviting your co-workers only (no spouses, guests, or significant others). Just be sure to seat them all together so they are near others they know at your reception.

When will the Masters invite a woman to play, if ever?

If a woman qualifies by one of the prescribed rules, she will get to play. For example, if Michelle Wie had won the USGA Amateur event that she entered last year, she would have qualified. She didn't win, so she didn't qualify. Now that she has turned pro, she would have to qualify a different way.
When will the Masters invite a woman to play, if ever?
ten years later.
Reply:I don't remember the exact qualifications, but don't you need to be in the top XX on the PGA money list for that to happen? I suppose that's the toughest way. The other was to win the Amateur tourney with all the match play. I don't remember which one, but it's probably the final one. I vaguely remember reading about it once when I was following Michelle Wie.

When will it actually happen? Probably not in 100 years.

Edit: Thanks for the list, c. Very informative.
Reply:Not for the foreseeable future, and definitely as long as Hootie Johnson remains club president. He repeatedly stated during the recent row with the head of the National Organziation of Women, Martha Burk, that they would not invite a woman. While August National's membership is fairly secret, there are no female members. Women are allowed to play the course as guests, however.

To comment on Arbitrage's answer, there are 17 qualifications for invitation to the Masters.

1. Masters Tournament Champions (Lifetime)

2. US Open Champions (Honorary, non-competing after 5 years)

3. British Open Champions (Honorary, non-competing after 5 years)

4. PGA Champions (Honorary, non-competing after 5 years)

5. Winners of The Players Championship (3 years)

6. Current US Amateur Champion (6-A) (Honorary, non-competing after 1 year) and the runner-up (6-B) to the current US Amateur Champion

7. Current British Amateur Champion (Honorary, non-competing after 1 year)

8. Current US Amateur Public Links Champion

9. Current US Mid-Amateur Champion

10. The first 16 players, including ties, in the 2005 Masters Tournament

11. The first 8 players, including ties, in the 2005 US Open Championship

12. The first 4 players, including ties, in the 2005 British Open Championship

13. The first 4 players, including ties, in the 2005 PGA Championship

14. The 40 leaders on the Final Official PGA Tour Money List for 2005

15. The 10 leaders on the Official PGA Tour Money List published during the week prior to the 2006 Masters Tournament

16. The 50 leaders on the Final Official World Golf Ranking for 2005

17. The 50 leaders on the Official World Golf Ranking published during the week prior to the 2006 Masters

The criterion most likely to result in a woman being invited was "8. Current US Amateur Public Links Champion" Last season, Michele Wie made it to the Quareterfinals (I think) and was in contention to win this predmoninently male championship. She has since turned pro, and is now ineligible.
Reply:It will happen soon, Michelle Wie might be the first.

How can you invite a girl/guy out for lunch without them thinking you like them romantically?

I swear, whenever I invite some acquaintance I just met in college out for lunch, she thinks I want something more. Or whenever I invite some guy out, he thinks I'm gay. After that, we don't talk anymore.

What the hell? I just want to become friends with my new acquaintances; why is that so hard?

Tell me how you do it please!
How can you invite a girl/guy out for lunch without them thinking you like them romantically?
Get it ALL out in the open, makes both parties feel so much more comfrontable. Like the next time you take a lady out, in one of those little moments of slience sort of say something like. "You know your extremely nice person, but everytime I do this with someone they don't understand my motives so I just want to get it right out in the open, that I'm just trying to get to know you, as a friend now, so chill, relax, enjoy yourself, hows the classes?" If its a guy thou just mention, "Hey buddy you know I'm not gay right? Everyone goes gayopobic on me, when I'm not anything like that, just trying to make some connections you know, see what the vibe is" or another round about way with that is just talk about all the sexy girls around, that has a tendency to beat back that gayophonbia... its just let it out in the open in your own unqiue style. The cool thing about this, is if they are liking you (you know appricated the outing, think your a geniune guy) you can't say it wrong. If there not vibe with you it doesn't matter any ways everything you say is wrong, get? So just don't let them make up there own minds on this, tell them, you AND them well feel alot more comfrontable. Had this happen when I've ask to sit next to a girl looking a little lonely in the coffee shop, but I've got my own technques. But everytime unless I explain better while I there, they tend to be a little cold, but as soon as I get it out in the open, I make a new friend! Amazing stuff that honesty!

were in the middle. So help please of some fun entertaining games that wont be boring that 10 girls came play together
Im going to invite my 12-13 year old girl friends?
ORGIE!!
Reply:Well, I'm 13 too. I'll list some things me and my friends would like to do at a play-date/sleepover.

--Twister is a really fun game! It's good because your not just sitting down the whole time. It's something where you can get involved. It's also good because everyone will get a chance to play.

My friends and I always like to take goofy pictures of ourselves. That's always fun, and then we'll post them on YouTube or hang them on my bedroom wall.

It's always fun to just chill out and read some magazines. I suggest for your age you guys can read:

-M

-Tiger Beat

-Popstar!

J-14

-Bop, etc.

We like to watch movies too. Not boring movies (of course!), we watch movies like Mean Girls, Bring It On, Love Wrecked, Sleepover, Confessians Of A Teenage Drama Queen, etc.

Of course there's the classic Pillow Fight. Just make sure your in a open area, and not around lots of furniture where you could break something or where someone could get hurt.

Kareoke!!! This is so much fun! This doesn't mean you have to have microphones and stuff like that. You can just turn on the boombox and have someone sing along to it. Or if there's shy girls there, 2 or more girls could sing at a time.

I also am a fan of the Dance Competition. It's where you split up into groups and make up a dance to a song. Doesn't have to be long, just maybe a couple 8 counts would be good.

This is fun, too. It's the Acting Competition. It's where you take a scene from a movie and you try to act it out. Whoever does best gets a prize.

Hope this helps!!!
Reply:twister is fun

Who would you invite for Thanksgiving at your house, Sarah Palin or Barack Obama?

obama obama obama obama
Who would you invite for Thanksgiving at your house, Sarah Palin or Barack Obama?
I would invite Palin, and the rest of her family as well, there is no way that Obama would ever enter my house under any conditions. I only let people into my residence that I like, and personally I don't like Obama and never will. Why would I want the strain and and aggravation of having to explain everything that I am talking about.

The Palin family would make the day entertaining and you could hold an intelligent conversation with the family and not have to explain everything that you are saying.

Plus, I have enough black Suburbans at my residence.
Reply:Bush since I'm a Vet and he has earned my respect. If not, Palin since she has a son serving in Iraq right now.

Liberals and Socialist such as Obama are not welcome in my house.

Nice too see liberals are still scared of Sarah Palin even after being slimmed by the bias media and a month after the election
Reply:B Hussein so that my friends, family, and I could tell him exactly what we think about him. We would drill him till he broke down and told the TRUTH. Something he's never known how to do.

But at the same time I wouldn't want to ruin everyone's Thanksgiving inviting a criminal into my home. Michelle definitely couldn't come. One glimpse at her thighs and you know there wouldn't be enough turkey to go around.
Reply:Sarah Palin! I am sure she would bring a nice fresh turkey that would taste extremely yummy. I wouldn't allow Obama in my house.

Edit- To all of the people who said Obama because they want decent converstion: I would never allow a teleprompter at the diner table.
Reply:palin. she would probably bring a turkey she shot herself.

obama would be entertaining, though. i could show him the fallout shelter i built myself on account of his military strategy.
Reply:Either one would be spooky, but look at this on Obama:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39aHQP5rN...
Reply:I would invite both families. I think it would be surprisingly fun. Or at the very least interesting. I bet the kids would all get on extremely well if the parents stayed out of it.
Reply:Palin. I wouldn't be averse to having Obama and his folks over either, but if I had to choose between the two, Palin would be my first choice.
Reply:Sarah. I don't have enough money or time to go buy everything AGAIN after Obama pounces on the photo op and redistributes my dinner to everyone else.
Reply:Sarah Palin, If OBAMA came he would probably redistribute all the leftovers and I would not get any.
Reply:Definitely Sarah Palin. She is an idol of mine and it would be an honor to have her over for Thanksgiving dinner!
Reply:Sarah Palin, of course. I wouldn't let Obama anywhere near my home, even if he agreed to cook the damn turkey.
Reply:Sarah. Definitely NOT Obama. One turkey at the table is enough.
Reply:Obama. I have no respect for Sarah and her brutal treatment of animals.
Reply:Neither. Family only.
Reply:Obama. I prefer intelligent conversation.
Reply:OBAMA!!

But then Palin could bring that turkey that guy was butchering behind her. LOL
Reply:Sarah and her family.
Reply:If I allowed one of them, I would allow the other. The only invited guest would be Ralph Nader. He's the only straight-talker in all this financial mess.

Palin could sit at the table and eat but she would have to keep her mouth shut about politics.

Obama could sit at the table and eat but he would have to promise not to tell any lies. That would probably shut him up about politics too.
Reply:Obama. And his lovely family of course. I like more even tempered holidays and Sarah Palin is too folksy for me. I would barf in the dressing at about the third you betcha.
Reply:Well if I want an intellectual thanksgiving dinner conversation Obama. But if I'm feeling Jerry Springer for some reason Palin and her pregnant out of wedlock kid and down syndrome baby. Ewh yea, I went there.
Reply:Thanksgiving is a corny holiday so I would want a corny person like Sarah there.

But who would I rather throw back some beers with? Obama. No questions asked.
Reply:well depends, if i invited barack id have to bring fried chicken AND turkey! but if i brought palin she wouldnt understand half the discussions going on around her...
Reply:How dumb, neither, cannot stand a lying politician.

Not you either we prefer intelligent conversations at our house.
Reply:Given how thankful I am that Governor Palin is not a heartbeat away from the Oval Office I would go with President Obama.
Reply:Obama. It would mean polite, intelligent conversation at the table.
Reply:The Obama family is welcome, Palin is not WELCOME.
Reply:Would the secret service know he was coming over? Yes?

Okay, then Palin I guess.

hehehe.
Reply:Barack Obama! He would at least allow for some intelligent conversations.
Reply:Obama!

Palin would probably bring some moose side-dish.

I'm hosting a party, and I want to invite 16 people, but limit is 10. What do I say do I say to those left out

I wouldn't even mention it, unless this is a very tight-knit group and they would definitely find out and feel left out or offended. If they would, I would just approach them and tell them I wanted to invite them, but could only have ten people. Be prepared to tell them why they were the ones left out if you do this, though!
I'm hosting a party, and I want to invite 16 people, but limit is 10. What do I say do I say to those left out
I would try to find a way to host a party with a limit of 16 people. Otherwise, I don't know how to handle this because I am not sure the situation. Like, if it were just friends in the neighborhood, for work, or for a class, it would be handled a bit differently I would think.. Well good luck with this one.
Reply:umm,u can:

1.tell the ones left that u had 2 cancel the party

2.make sure the ones left DONT find out u had a party nd didnt invite them

3.BEG ur parents 2 let u invite 6 more ppl :]
Reply:If you don't invite the others, how will they know they were left out. You wouldn't go and tell them, would you, with lame excuses, etc.

If there should be a problem, just say your mom made out the invitations.
Reply:Are the 16 all part of a closely knit group, all of which would know you had a party and feel left out? Find a different way to have the party - if it was sit down and you only have seats for 10, change it to a buffet with heavy appetizers and the 16 can walk around and mingle and perch on chairs or sofas.

If this is not a closely knit group, then you say nothing to the uninvited. What can you possibly say - - I'm planning a party and you didn't make the cut?

Who would you invite to a graduation family?

Would you remain all family or would you extend to friends and their family assuming you know them decently. Thanks for your answer.

This is going to sound pretty horrible, but invite who ever you can and just hope they bring presents! :)

The wedding's in Mexico in June and no invite yet?

So my cousin's getting married in early June in Mexico, and I still haven't gotten an invite. We all know about it, my parents sent me the link to their wedding web site. So basically, I know I'm invited but I they haven't officially reached out. Is this normal? Shouldn't they have sent something by now?
The wedding's in Mexico in June and no invite yet?
Its still super early. I would be more concerned towards the end of April. Many people don't sent invites out until a month or two before!
Reply:Hello,

It is still a little too early; usually I get wedding invitations about 3 months before a wedding.

By thw way, if you are not invited eventually you may keep this old Greek proverb in mind:

If one is not invited to a person's wedding, you have no moral obligation to go to their funeral.

Cheers,

Michael Kelly
Reply:Although its early for wedding invites they should have sent "save-the dates" or announcements or something, so people can prepare and ask off of work to get to the wedding. I would call and ask when the date is so you can make sure to ask off for work, this should help hurry things along.
Reply:its your cousin's wedding. ask your other cousins if they got an invite if not it might be a family invite, meaning that they sent it to your parents to invite your immediate family. so i would book the flight to mexico and if you weren't really invited at least you in Mexico!
Reply:Invitations should be received at the most 2 months before the event.

Is it normal for a wife to want to invite a woman to join her and her husband?

I have been wanting to ask a woman to join me with my husband for a while now but I do not have the guts to ask him, or another woman for that matter. But I really want to try it. Is this weird? How do I go about setting this up? Honestly I am not that picky, any clean, cool woman would do, I am not looking for a relationship but a sexual experience.
Is it normal for a wife to want to invite a woman to join her and her husband?
Its not weird at all!

Lots of married and un-married couples have experimented with other people. Its perfectly natural to want a different sexual experience.

Just be sure that you AND your partner are ready for the experience. Make sure that you both are stable and won't be jealous when it happens. Its supposed to be fun!

Be honest with your partner, tell him that its what you want. Repressed sexual desires is not healthy for a relationship. Maybe he has a fantasy that he'd like you to help him with ; )

Have fun and stay clean.
Reply:More and More in today's society threesomes are becoming very popular , and when it is two women with one man , it is really acceptable . I mean what man would turn down the opportunity to have sex with two women , one being his wife and then when he was tuckered out , to lie back and watch the two women go at each other . The non the other hand two men and 1 woman is gross especially if the two men plan on having sex with one another.

Society finds that quite gross .

Are you normal , I would say yes because I think that most women have at least thought about it because it is a normal thing to think about a different kind of sexual experience . Some women find they like it so much that they continue their sexual experiences with women .

I hope this has answered your question , good luck
Reply:What people do in the privacy of their own bedroom is their business. I don't think you're wierd at all. Lot's of women are curious about what it would be like to be with another woman, with or without a man present. I say go for it! There are alot of different ways to meet people but if you are looking for a strictly sexual experience, you may want to narrow your search by looking at a personals site or something like that, where the people there are also just looking for a sexual experience.

Good luck to you!
Reply:SWEET!!! Talk to your husband about it. If he says no then he is a fag. Any guy would jump at this. I have been trying to get my wife to do this for a while now. All she ever does is joke about it. Once when she was drunk I got her to kiss another girl in front of me. That is as close as I came.

Your husband is one lucky SOB.
Reply:If you are looking for it, you will find it. There are a lot of sites on the internet where you can make connections just like this.

You are wanting a threesome.

The answer is...you have the tools to find out really easy, if you have a credit card and want to pay to get on some sites on the net where you can meet other men and women with your desires.

Use Google and start looking.
Reply:start a conversation on it and know wat his views are. if he seems not interested, ask if u call someone for real, to come join, he wont like it? there're phone lines all over the mags for girls like that. dont just pick anyone from the street or internet.
Reply:Wow! I would say it is weird only because it does not happen very often.

I can say that I would be shocked at first, but once the shock wore off, I would say, "I'll do it for you sweet pea because I love you so much!"

Best of luck!
Reply:It is normal if your husband is a normal pervert man. Other than that marriage is about just the two of you.

I guess you wouldn't feel bad if he brought another woman to the house or if he cheated on you.
Reply:first u have to bring the woman u have in mind to the house for dinner or something and let ur husband see her and if u catch him checking her out then playfully ask him if he would like to have a 3some....
Reply:you need to let your husband know how you feel. start a conversation about fantasies - ask him his and go from there. you may find that he has the same fantasy and will be thrilled.
Reply:You are just asking for trouble! If your husband decides he likes the other woman better then you and starts screwing around behind your back it'll be your fault!!!
Reply:You don't know what kind of consequences can come of this. Be careful.
Reply:if your husband is like most other men, he wont care one bit so let him know
Reply:so yer not the jealous type are you
Reply:hey, i don't know about him, but i will be very happy.

Have caucations ever invite black to go drink after work?

In the work place caucation will work with black, because it is necessary to carry on business. After work, the circumstances allows one to be more free to do as he please, and there is no "corporate behavior" restrictions that control behavior. What happens after work is that caucation will hang with his buddies, other caucations. Even though caucations will never admit it, but they do look at people based on color. Because someone is another color, caucation will have less reason and interest to introduce themselves with the motivation of making friends with someone that is considered outside their social circle based on race. I have seen it very often as a colored person, because it happens everyday in my perception. It may not occur to caucations that they do this, they see no problem, because they do not have to carry on each day having to interact with someone outside of their "white" race. But we do, we have to cross that color line to interact with them.
Have caucations ever invite black to go drink after work?
Learn to spell, ok? If you like a person, what difference does it make as to his/her color? If we don't learn to pull together as Americans - not "Irish-Americans, "Polish-Americans or"African Americans" then this nation will be a "house divided against itself" %26amp; will crumble. We are all in this world, together %26amp; if you reach out to others, you may be surprised at how many friends you make %26amp; haow much fun you can have. Personally, as a Caucasian, I feel that Blacks hang together %26amp; hate Whites, so I am often afraid to try, but I do anyway. Peace %26amp;Good luck!
Reply:that can still happen by choice. but it is going bye bye fairly quicky as peole get more used to being with people of differnt skin colors and faiths. the word is geting smaller after all. more fights between diferent races in ths country have more to do with weither or not yo like or dislike an indivual.except in young male ad femals there is still a lot of fighing to see hows the king or queen of the walk.
Reply:Discrimination in the workplace is illegal... plain and simple... once you punch out, no one can tell you who to spend your free time with...

HOWEVER...

Caucasians (yeah, that's really how it's spelled) are not the only ones who "hang with his buddies". The truth of the matter is, people in general like to associate with people with whom they have things in common. What's really hard to grasp sometimes is that "race" may not be the only issue. Is there a socio-economic divide that has not been considered in your equation???

It has to start somewhere... if you are bothered by the fact that people don't cross the racial divide, then you should cross it... dare to be the one who rises above racial stereotype and segregation and reach out to someone of another race.

I'm not sure where you live... but there are plenty of places that my gf (yeah... she's white) and I go where we see lots of groups of people of varying races congregating together. Maybe you should try new surroundings. Indianapolis is nice this time of year.
Reply:I see none of this where I live. When work is over, the color of the person or his/her status in the corporate world means nothing. We go out to eat, drink, go to each other's homes, babysit each other's kids, etc. and we don't consider color at all. I have interest in all races and cultures and I wish this racist crap would just stop. Once we get to where color/culture doesn't matter anymore, someone brings it up. I hope this doesn't continue where you live. I am caucasion, my best friend is black--and not African American, according to her, because she's not from Africa...she's black, I'm white, and her b/f is Korean and mine is Native American. Races, colors, cultures--they make us great, so what's the problem? If you have to cross a color line outside of work then you're in the wrong place, hon.
Reply:As a white person, we also have to cross that line to interact with you; however, I don't mind at all. One of my greatest relationships is interracial and the joy and fun of being together and sharing our experiences and life in general is rewarding for us both. Admittedly, when I go to her home, I get stared at and take a lot of cat calls, etc and I even get some slurs that I do not appreciate. She does not go through that coming into my home however, as I've told my neighbors that I would not tolerate such insensitivity and that I respect their friends and I expect the same in return. When our children were younger we both took a lot of heat for allowing our children to play together. But we grew up best friends. The only thing I did learn - was we couldn't share a hair brush - her afro-sheen (which is what it was called at the time) did strange things to my baby-fine blond hair - but we laughed and went on. We had choices and it was not easy to be friends in the 70's without a lot of crude and ill-mannered people's remarks and unfortunately I think it has become worse with time not better - so all the teaching and preaching of multi-culturalism hasn't changed a thing. People who want to be racist will be and those who don't won't be.
Reply:They just don't like you-your colour/race has nothing to do with it.
Reply:sounds like you see what you choose to see

individuals are responsible for thier individual behaviour no matter what their race
Reply:You could invite some blacks to you house to have watermelons after work. They all would come over!
Reply:I am just about as white as a girl can be when it comes to my race.... but my friends come in all colors, shapes, religions, and sexual orientations.

And by the way, sometimes it is true, people stick together with other people they share common traits with. Notice that I said people... its not just a white problem. We all ''group'' up.
Reply:Um... I've spent a great deal of social time with black people. Methinks you're stuck back in the 50s, man.
