What is yaho mash? is it really an invite - only service? if I want to be invited, how can I get the account?

Do I need to have a contact with people who already had an yahoo mash account? (by yahoo mail, 360 or messenger?!)

Yahoo!Mash is a new social networking product much like Friendster and MySpace. It is in Beta testing at this time.
